Violin Kits - Group 1
Each of our kits include all the parts needed to complete a
violin. Tools, glue, and finishing supplies are not included with this
kit.
We offer six grades of violin kits from Kit 1, usual quality top and
back with no flame, to Kit 6 select fine quality top and a highly
flamed back with matching sides and neck. You save 10% when ordering
a kit over our regular priced wood. You may substitute any item in
any kit for the same type of item of equal or greater value from our
catalog. Just deduct 10% of the difference from the regular catalog
price of the item you want to substitute, from the catalog price of
the kit item and add it to the total cost of the kit. All violin kits
include the book “The Violin Maker’s Guide.”

Partially Carved Violin Kits - Group II
These kits are real time savers. They are the same as the Group 1 kits
except the top, back, and neck are partially carved as in the picture below.
The final grading of the top and back are left for the builder. The f-holes
and purfling groove are not cut out. All violin kits include the book “The Violin Maker’s Guide.”
